ADVANCING THE STATUS OF WOMEN IN THE ARAB WORLD
Women’s rights and gender equality have been at the heart of the international agenda over the past few years. This intensification of the movement for women’s rights has been driven, in part, by the anniversaries of some of the core international instruments on gender.
THE CURRENT MIGRANT CRISIS: AN AFTERMATH OF THE ARAB SPRING?
In order to mark the 2015 Human Rights Day and International Migrants Day, the Geneva Centre hosted a panel discussion on the migrant crisis currently affecting the Mediterranean region and the European continent more generally.

CELEBRATION OF THE WORLD POETRY DAY
During the 30th session of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) General Conference, held in Paris in 1999, the 21st March was declared as World Poetry Day.
ROUND TABLE: MEN AND BOYS – IN SOLIDARITY FOR GENDER EQUALITY
The Geneva Centre co-convened one of the 16 side-events composing the Geneva NGO Forum and focusing on the 12 core themes set out illo tempore by the Beijing Conference.
