THE GENEVA CENTRE IS COMMITTED TO CONDUCTING RESEARCH THAT IS TRULY INDEPENDENT AND PROVIDES INSIGHTS ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUES. THE GENEVA CENTRE’S RESEARCH POLICY IS NEEDS DIRECTED.

It aims to focus its research efforts where they are most valuable, and to identify areas where existing mechanisms are not fully equipped to promote, protect, or respect human rights. The objectives of our publications are to enlighten stakeholders about the Centre’s activities and to identify solutions to advance the promotion of human rights at the global level.

BACK TO SCHOOL NOT WORK: ENDING CHILD LABOUR IN A POST-COVID WORLD (2021)

On the occasion of the International Year for the Elimination of Child Labour, the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue organized an online event on 17 June 2021, entitled “back to School not Work: Ending Child Labour in a Post-COVID World”. The present publication is the result of this online event organized on a highly topical issue.

On 25 March 2021, the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue organized an online panel entitled “COVID-19 and Right to Education: Current Impact and Future Consequences”. The present publication includes a summary of the proceedings and the full statements of the panel presentations, as well as an analytical article which builds upon the lessons learned from the panel.
