The Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue conducted its “Cybersecurity & Human Rights” online training course, 30 March 2022.

According to the Identity Theft Resource Center’s 2021 Annual Data Breach Report, the number of reported data breaches has increased by 68% compared to 2020. In this one-day short course, participants examined various digital risks related to human rights. They learned about how to deal with such risks and acquired the knowledge and skills needed to ensure basic protection against privacy violations and the protection of communications and sensitive data.
