The Geneva Centre will closely monitor the 62nd session of the UN Human Rights Council (HRC62), hold from 15 June to 07 July 2026 at Palais des Nations in Geneva.

During the 62nd session, the Human Rights Council will address a wide range of thematic and country-specific human rights issues. For the purposes of this project, monitoring will focus on selected interactive dialogues and discussions that are directly relevant to our thematic areas of expertise and to countries within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Relevant thematic discussions may include interactive dialogues with mandate holders addressing issues concerning Global Governance and Inclusive Societies; Climate Change and Human Rights; Women’s Rights and Gender Equality; Rights of Children; Digital Transformation, Business and Human Rights.
Regarding country-specific situations, monitoring will concentrate primarily on discussions and interactive dialogues concerning MENA countries.
