A national of Italy, Martina joined the Geneva Centre in September 2024 as Project and Information Officer.

In this role, she supports the planning, coordination, and execution of the Centre’s activities. She is responsible for preparing publications, conducting research related to programs, and developing networks for various collaborations with third parties.

Martina is a skilled professional with a robust background in international affairs, human rights, and communications. Before joining the Geneva Centre, she gained valuable experience in various roles, including Communications and Institutional Relations Intern at the Representation of the European Commission in Italy, Legal Advisor Intern at the Permanent Mission of Italy to the United Nations in New York, Research Fellow at the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, and Research Assistant at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva. In these positions, she drafted reports on humanitarian and human rights issues, conducted research on multilateral topics, and contributed to the development of international policies.

Martina has a multidisciplinary and international education, having lived and studied across Italy, Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Master’s degree in International and European Politics from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan.

Martina speaks Italian and English and has a working knowledge of French, Russian, and Spanish.
