The Board of the Geneva Centre is responsible for overseeing the policies and activities of the organization. The Geneva Centre’s Board of Management meets regularly to discuss the strategic direction of the organization.
Dr Mohammed Butti Thani Alshamsi, a national of the United Arab Emirates, is a founding member of the Centre in 2013 and has since served on its Board of Management.
He is Deputy Director and Associate Professor of Law of the Dubai Police Academy, Vice-Chairman of the UAE Jurists Association since 2012 and Chairman of the Board of the UAE Coordinating Assembly for Occupational Societies, since 2013.

Vincent Hornung, a national of Switzerland, joined the Board of Management of the Geneva Centre as Secretary-General in 2019.
After having been for 12 years Chief Officer of renowned Swiss insurance companies, such as Bâloise, Winterthur and Axa, he is now General Manager of the Geneva Headquarters of one of the largest Swiss insurance companies, the Mutuel Group.
