The Human Rights Chronicle is a periodic publication designed to bridge the gap between academic research and practical engagement in the field of human rights.

At a time when navigating reliable information can be increasingly challenging despite the abundance of high-quality research, the Chronicle adopts a curatorial approach by highlighting some of the most relevant and insightful contributions to contemporary human rights debates. Each edition is structured around the Centre’s three core thematic areas: Global Governance & Inclusive Societies; Climate Change and Human Rights; and Digital Transformation, Business and Human Rights—while maintaining a particular focus on developments affecting the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In addition to curated academic content, the Chronicle provides a platform for experts and practitioners to share their perspectives, and features updates on key developments, as well as events and initiatives led by the Centre and its partners. Through this initiative, the Geneva Centre aims to foster stronger connections between research and practice, and to contribute meaningfully to the global human rights discourse.
