In parallel, he has held administrative appointments since 1998 as magistrate in the legislature and subsequently in the executive of the town of Céligny (Canton de Geneva). He was elected Mayor of Céligny in 2020.
He graduated from the Hotel Management School of Lausanne and holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Commerce and a Swiss Federal Certificate of Financial Adviser.
Vincent Hornung is of French mother tongue and at ease in English.
