The Geneva Centre issues publication on enhancing access to justice for workers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

17 July 2019, GENEVA – A new publication entitled “Improving access to justice for workers: The case of the UAE” has been published by the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue. The publication is an outcome of a panel discussion held on 20 March 2018 at Palais des Nations in Geneva addressing the same subject. The debate was jointly organized by the Geneva Centre, the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) and the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG).

19 June 2019, VIENNA - On June 19, 2019, the Baku International Centre for Interfaith and Inter-Civilizational Cooperation (BCIC), the KAICIID International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue, and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Austria has held at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, the International Conference "From Interfaith And Inter-Civilizational Cooperation To Human Solidarity".

20 June 2019, VIENNA – Following the 19 June international conference on “From the Interfaith and Inter-Civilizational Cooperation to Human Security” held in Vienna, the delegation of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue, represented by its Executive Director Ambassador Idriss Jazairy and project and communications officer Blerim Mustafa, concluded their visit to Austria with a series of meetings with government officials and decision makers.

19 June 2019, VIENNA — Societies must work together to build more tolerance, solidarity and peace within and between nations, said the Executive Director of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue, Ambassador Idriss Jazairy, during the 19 June international conference on "From Interfaith, Inter-Civilizational Cooperation to Human Solidarity.” He emphasized that all such societies are built on shared aspirations and not shared ethnicity.

The Geneva Centre receives message from the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue on the occasion of Id al-Fitr

03 June 2019, GENEVA – The Executive Director of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue Ambassador Idriss Jazairy has received a message from the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (PCID) of the Holy See addressed to all Muslims of the world, on the occasion of the Id al-Fitr that marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The letter was transmitted to the Geneva Centre by the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to UN in Geneva HE Archbishop Ivan Jurkovic.
