A delegation of human rights practitioners and students from Saudi Arabia visits the Geneva Centre as part of a Knowledge and Cultural Exchange program organized by the Saudi firm Direction Corporate Social Responsibility

24 January 2018, GENEVA – The Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue welcomed today a group of human rights practitioners, academics, government officials and students from the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia at its premises.

19 January 2018, GENEVA – During a speech at the Al-Azhar conference in Cairo on the situation in Jerusalem, the Executive Director of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue H. E. Ambassador Idriss Jazairy appealed to the international community, and in particular the Arabic and Muslim community, to join forces and act in concert in order to halt the violations of Palestinians’ human rights.”

15 January 2018, GENEVA – Webster University in Geneva represented by Dr. Oreste Foppiani - Head of the Department of International Relations and Associate Professor of International History & Politics – and the Founder and President of Citizens United Switzerland – Ms Ngoneh Panneh - have today signed the 2017 Geneva Declaration entitled “Mobility and human solidarity, a challenge and an opportunity for Europe and the MENA region.”

Executive Director of the Geneva Centre to attend Al-Azhar conference in Cairo on the situation in Jerusalem

15 January 2018, GENEVA – The Executive Director of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue H. E. Ambassador Idriss Jazairy will participate and address the adverse human rights impacts of the worsening situation in Al-Quds / East Jerusalem.

The conference will be held at the Al-Azhar International Conference Center in Cairo (Egypt) from 17 to 18 January 2018. It will be arranged under the joint auspices of the Council of Muslim Elders and Al-Azhar.
