On March 5th, the Geneva Centre will host, with the support of Union des Nations pour l’Enseignement, la Science Universelle et les Droits de l’Homme (UNESU), a panel discussion on the side-lines of the 28th regular session of the Human Rights Council.

The side-event will aim to stimulate discussion on the good practices and challenges ahead for combatting discrimination and incitement to violence based on religion or belief, and to promote effective implementation of HRC Resolution 16/18 (2011).

The ultimate goal of the event is not to provide definitive responses, but to collectively explore ways in which stakeholders can work together to enhance delivery in this area.

A report of the event will be available on our website.

When: 5 March, between 12:00 – 14:00

Where: Palais des Nations, Room XXVII
