Chairman of the Geneva Centre attends Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Network Gala in Dubai

GENEVA, 23 May 2017 - The Chairman of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue (“The Geneva Centre”) H. E. Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali Al Qassim attended on 21 May the Annual Gala Dinner arranged by the UAE Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Network in Dubai.

The gala dinner was attended by several renowned personalities representing various communities of the UAE society including the UAE Minister of State for Tolerance H. E. Sheikha Lubna Khalid Al Qasimi.

The world is made up of a mosaic of people belonging to different cultural and religious backgrounds. Our planet has been a cultural melting pot since time immemorial.

The Geneva Centre receives a visit from the European Public Law Organization (EPLO)

Geneva, 12 May 2017 – The Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue (“The Geneva Centre”) held a meeting this morning with the Geneva-based representative of the global think-thank European Public Law Organization (EPLO) Dr. George Papadatos at the Centre’s Headquarter.

The meeting was attended by the Geneva Centre’s Executive Chairman Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali Al Qassim, Executive Director Ambassador Idriss Jazairy and treasurer Dr. Mohamed Butti Thani Tarish Al Shamsi.

Albanian students visit the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue

GENEVA, 9 May 2017 – The Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue (“The Geneva Centre”) welcomed yesterday a group of students from Albanian College Tirana (ACT) who visited our Headquarter during a study trip to Switzerland.

15 students and 2 teachers were accommodated at the Geneva Centre’s training room where Executive Director Ambassador Idriss Jazairy gave a presentation of the Centre’s recent initiatives to promote and advance human rights in the Arab region.

7 April 2017 (GENEVA) – Today marks the 2017 World Health Day highlighting the importance of addressing the effects of depression on people’s health.

This year’s theme is a timely opportunity to shed light on an issue that has been neglected for decades despite that the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that more than 300 million people suffer from this malaise.
